Wild Rumpus Garden

At Brockway Elementary

BCAT is proud to serve the community by creating art spaces where children can learn and grow. Our 2018 project focuses on two children’s books. Using Where the Wild Things Are and The Very Hungry Caterpillar as inspiration, we created a user-friendly garden to encourage students to play and learn. Located in a courtyard at Brockway Elementary, the garden incorporates learning stations focused on reading skills as well as lessons inspired by both books. Contributing artists include Liana Agnew, Claira Heitzenrater, Melissa Lovingood, Alyssa Ruberto, Hannah Scrima, and T&D Carvings.
