Our art department has state of the art facilities in both ceramics and metalsmithing. We also have a gallery and small retail space near the entrance of BCAT. Our primary focus is the Apprentice Training program for 9th through 12th grade students. This program runs Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. We host additional art opportunities for tweens and adults during the evening and weekends.
Our Apprenticeship Training Program (ATP) is an after-school fine arts program for high school students designed to educate and inspire any young person who has an interest in the arts and creative self-expression.
For those interested in the arts who are not in the 9th to 12th grades, we have evening classes and weekend workshops available. Held in both ceramics and metals, there is sure to be something for you.
Each year we do special projects with local schools, the community and other small groups. 2020's large project was a mural at Brockway High School, but you can check out many of our past projects here.
Brockway Center for Arts and Technology offers artist in residence programs in both our ceramics and metals studio. Our residency program is designed for developing, emerging, or established artists seeking to further develop their craft, concepts, and/or teaching skills.
Our gallery hosts exhibitions featuring local, regional, and national artists. You can find images of our current and past shows in our online exhibition archive.
We do not have submission fees for any of our exhibitions. If you are interested in showing in our gallery or have a project idea, please contact Liana Agnew at liana.agnew@brockwaycat.org.
